East Cobb, GA

Silicon Valley, CA

The first site plan is of a town home deal in East Cobb. It shows how the developers of Atlanta are trying to get more density for their town home and single family home deals, but they can't get more than 12 units and acre. While over in California the need for houses is much vertical which allows the developers over there to get at least 40 units an acre. The land in  California is also much more expensive then any other part of the country also.

Singapore, China

London, England

In London and Singapore, which have both become huge parties in the world's economy today making the need for more living space. They both get up to 80-100 units an acre. They also build most of their buildings vertical  unlike in the US where we build most of our homes in suburbs outside of the city allowing us to not have to build vertical.

The main difference in the real estate between Atlanta and Silicon Valley are the restrictions. This is true for almost all of the US. California and New York for example are so vertical of other cities, such as Nashville, Atlanta, and Raleigh, on restriction laws. The laws they have there or necessarily don't have allow them to build much more homes in smaller areas.

London and Singapore are similar in set up to New York. They all don't have space to expand horizontal with neighborhoods so they have to expand vertical in sky rises. Which sets them apart in the real estate market because you are paying twice as much for an apartment in a sky rise building over a bigger home in a smaller city. But because these cities are some of the core cities of the world the real estate market will never stop or even slow.
